DERMAL FILLERS & LIP FILLER FAREHAM

Dermal Fillers & Lip Filler in Fareham

At Sinéad Laura Aesthetics in Hill Head, Fareham, dermal filler treatments are individually tailored to enhance, restore and balance your natural facial features.

From subtle lip enhancement to facial contouring and profile balancing, my approach is centred around creating natural-looking, proportionate results that are individual to you.

Look Well. Not Done.

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments, commonly formulated using hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found within the body that plays an important role in maintaining hydration and volume within the skin.

Carefully placed dermal filler can be used to enhance facial contours, restore selected areas of lost volume, improve definition and create greater balance between facial features.

Treatment is never one-size-fits-all. Product selection, placement and amount are determined according to your individual anatomy, concerns and desired outcome.

What Areas Can Dermal Filler Treat?

Depending on individual suitability, dermal fillers can be used for:

  • Lip enhancement and definition

  • Cheek enhancement and volume restoration

  • Chin enhancement and projection

  • Jawline definition and facial contouring

  • Nasolabial folds

  • Marionette lines

  • Selected areas of facial volume loss

  • Profile balancing

  • Non-surgical rhinoplasty

A consultation allows us to assess your facial proportions and discuss which treatment options may be most appropriate for you.

Lip Filler & Lip Enhancement

Lip filler can be used to enhance volume, improve definition, support symmetry and refine the shape and proportions of the lips.

Whether you're looking for an extremely subtle enhancement or greater definition and volume, your treatment is designed around your existing lip anatomy and facial proportions.

My focus is on creating balanced, natural-looking lips that complement your individual features, rather than following a particular trend or creating the same lip shape for every client.

Cheek Filler & Facial Contouring

Changes in facial volume can occur naturally with age, while some clients simply want greater definition or balance within their facial structure.

Carefully placed cheek filler can help restore or enhance contour and support facial proportions.

Treatment can be performed independently or incorporated into a wider facial rejuvenation or balancing plan.

Chin & Jawline Filler

Dermal filler can be strategically placed within the chin and jawline to help improve definition, projection, proportion and overall facial balance.

Small changes to facial proportions can sometimes have an impact on the appearance of the profile, which is why treatment planning considers the face as a whole rather than focusing solely on an individual feature.

Liquid Rhinoplasty

A liquid rhinoplasty, sometimes referred to as a non-surgical nose treatment, uses carefully positioned dermal filler to alter the appearance of selected aspects of the nose without surgery.

Depending on your individual anatomy, treatment may be used to improve the appearance of certain irregularities, refine the profile or create the appearance of greater balance and symmetry.

Not every nose or concern is suitable for dermal filler treatment. A thorough consultation and assessment are therefore particularly important before considering liquid rhinoplasty.

Facial Balancing & Rejuvenation

Rather than treating individual areas in isolation, dermal filler can also be used as part of a personalised facial balancing or rejuvenation plan.

This involves assessing the relationship between different facial features and strategically treating selected areas to create greater harmony while maintaining your natural appearance.

The aim isn't to change your face — it's to make subtle, considered adjustments appropriate to your anatomy and your goals.

What Happens During My Appointment?

Before treatment, we will complete a thorough consultation to discuss your concerns, desired outcome and relevant health information.

Your facial anatomy and proportions will be assessed and suitable treatment options explained, including the proposed product, placement and amount of filler where appropriate.

You'll also have the opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns before deciding whether treatment is right for you.

Is Dermal Filler Painful?

Discomfort varies between individuals and according to the treatment area.

Many hyaluronic acid fillers contain a local anaesthetic, and additional comfort measures may be used where appropriate. You may still experience pressure, tenderness or brief discomfort during treatment.

Is There Any Downtime After Dermal Filler?

Downtime is generally minimal, although this varies between individuals and treatment areas.

Temporary side effects can include:

  • Swelling

  • Redness

  • Tenderness

  • Bruising

  • Temporary unevenness associated with swelling

These usually improve as the area settles, although bruising and swelling can occasionally persist for longer.

Full aftercare guidance will be provided following your treatment.

When Will I See My Results?

A visible change can often be seen immediately following dermal filler treatment; however, the area may initially be swollen.

The final appearance should therefore be assessed once the filler and surrounding tissues have had time to settle.

Some treatments may be planned gradually over more than one appointment rather than attempting to achieve the desired outcome in a single session.

How Long Do Dermal Fillers Last?

Dermal fillers are temporary treatments.

Longevity varies considerably according to the product used, treatment area, amount of filler, individual metabolism, lifestyle and other individual factors.

Your expected treatment longevity and potential maintenance plan will be discussed during your consultation.

Can Dermal Filler Be Dissolved?

Many commonly used hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase where clinically appropriate.

Dissolving may be considered for a number of reasons, including unwanted previous filler or complications requiring appropriate management.

An assessment is required before elective filler dissolving, and the process, limitations and associated risks will be discussed beforehand.

Is Dermal Filler Safe?

All injectable treatments carry potential risks and side effects.

A thorough consultation and suitability assessment are completed before treatment, and potential risks, expected side effects and aftercare are discussed so that you can make an informed decision.

Treatments are carried out within a fully insured and licensed clinic, with safety, hygiene, appropriate treatment planning and aftercare central to my practice.

How Do I Know Which Filler Treatment Is Right for Me?

You don't need to know exactly which treatment you need before contacting me.

During your consultation we can discuss what you would like to improve rather than simply choosing a particular procedure. I can then assess your facial anatomy and explain which treatment options, if any, may be appropriate.

There is never a one-size-fits-all approach.
